I’m Back! Reopening My Shop in 5th Street Arcades in September!

*Scroll down for updates*

When I started Love, Anji and opened my paper flower stand seven years ago, I wanted to spread love in my neighborhood by creating something beautiful and lasting. What I didn’t expect was the love I received – the chance to spread love around the world, customers turning into friends, catching up on your lunch break, celebrating special moments in your life. It means the world to have those connections with you.

So when I made the decision to close my brick and mortar store in September 2018, it was the right choice for me at the time, but it was still very hard to close the doors. I missed that connection I had in my life for five years. I spent the next year continuing to sell online and expanding my wholesale business to many stores across the country.

Fast forward to August 2019 and I was ready to get back. While I interacted with you all on social media and emails, it just isn’t the same as in-person conversations. I have so many customers that became friends and I missed that connection. The store was often referred to as “the happy store” and it meant a lot to me to provide that space in the world. My mission was and STILL is to be a bright spot in your day.

I wanted to make sure I gave myself time to figure out where and when I would reopen and while I didn’t think it would take me another year, I’m glad I took my time. It allowed me to travel a bit more, make flowers on the road, and enjoying long trips (not just weekends) with family and friends.

That brings us to last night when I announced some exciting news live on Facebook! I am reopening at the 5th Street Arcades next month! 5th Street was my home for over 5 years and this next step getting back into a brick and mortar store made sense.

Over the last week, I had a contest on guessing where the new location would be and there were many of you that thought it could be Lakewood, Coventry, and Van Aken. Those guesses didn’t go unnoticed and I am open to the idea of other locations down the road and I will definitely be looking at those neighborhoods. 🙂

So the fun details…

– I’m opening Tuesday, September 22.

– In the 5th Street Arcades in downtown Cleveland.  Suite 33.

– To be as safe as possible with in-store shopping, the grand opening celebration will happen over two weeks. Stay tuned for fun promos and things happening like spend $50 or more and receive a free mini flower arrangement.

Thank You Teachers!

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up (May 4-8) and I’ve seen many appreciation posts on social media these past weeks saying how much more they appreciate their kids’ teachers.  With most schools sticking with e-learning for the remainder of the school year, these teachers are continuing to bust their butts to stay connected to their students and teach in this challenging time.

Don’t let that week go by without spreading love and letting them know how much their dedication to our kids is appreciated!

But I don’t know the teacher’s address…  No problem!  In the shipping address field, put your address, but in the checkout notes put the teacher’s email address.  I will contact them to let them know flowers are on their way.  If I can’t connect with the teacher, you will be notified and refunded.

Let’s spread the love to teachers!

Spread Love

Hi everyone!  It’s Anji!  I’m really excited you are joining me here for my first ever blog post.  I have been part of so many beautiful moments and I want to share them with you.  Today is a perfect day to start this new adventure because it is Love, Anji’s 7th birthday!

My mission for Love, Anji has always been to spread love and be a bright spot in someone’s day.  During this last month, I have had the opportunity to send flowers to those you love. To encourage.  To cheer up.  To celebrate.  To offer condolences.  Thank you for inviting me to be part of these times in your life – the good and the sad.

One gift of flowers was from a gal to her sister who is battling her fourth cancer and pneumonia.  She was in the hospital for almost two weeks, all alone.  Thankfully, she is back home now with her husband and starting chemo this week.  She’s hoping these flowers will brighten up her day.

Some of the messages you have sent the past few weeks…
“Thinking of you!”
“We hope this brightens your day as we all ‘shelter in place’ and work from home.”
“Happy 96th Birthday!”
“We miss you…hang in there!”
Sending healing thoughts your way from a safe social distance.”
I’m always here for you, and ready to jump on the bus with margarita fixins.”

This week I’m having a birthday giveaway and hope you’ll help me spread love across social media.  On Instagram and Facebook, share a photo of your Love, Anji flowers using #SpreadLoveAnji.  Each post will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 bouquet a month for a year!  That’s right!  Twelve months of flowers!

Did you receive flowers from someone?  I’d love to hear about your story.
Did you have them at your wedding?  Let’s see photos from your special day!
Did you get them for yourself?  Share where you have them at your home or work.

I hope you’ll help me spread love across social media this week.  I can’t wait to see your flowers!

Whether you’ve been around for a short time or seven years, I’m glad you are here!  Your support means everything to me!

P.S.  A couple fine print details about the giveaway…Post by Saturday night (April 18 11:59pm EST).  You can have multiple entries.  If your account is private, please message me a screenshot of your post. Free shipping to all US states.  If you are international, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping.
